About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Care Professional to support individuals in their home setting and community. You'll help individuals with disabilities or special needs live safely, independently, and with dignity in a home-like environment as well as their communtiy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.
- Support mobility, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
- Monitor and document behavior, health changes, and incidents.
- Facilitate social, recreational, and community outings.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
- Communicate with house supervisors, nurses, and family members.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and follow facility protocols.
- Support individuals individualized service/care plans and goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior caregiving or group home experience preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Completion of state DSP training (or willingness to complete).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Auto Insurance.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift/assist with transfers.

Schedule: Overnight, weekends, rotating shifts. Second Shift.
